Study to halt suicide

            NEW YORK - HealthDay News provided these clinical trials courtesy of Thomson CenterWatch:

            Depression (Major/Severe) - a research study to prevent suicidal behavior in people with major depressive disorder. Volunteers 18-75 now in a major depressive episode, have a history of suicide attempt, don’t have a history of bipolar disorder, and don’t have a known contraindication to Paxil or Wellbutrin may be eligible.             Breast Pain - a common complaint in women, especially those of child-bearing age. If you’re a woman at least 18 and have breast pain, you may be eligible to participate in this clinical study of an investigational medication.             Knee Injuries - Researchers are evaluating how different exercises affect pain, strength, muscle activity, and function in women with knee pain. Women 17-35 may be included who have had knee pain for at least one month and are otherwise healthy. Study time will be approximately 10 hours over six weeks.
