From hepatitis to heartburn

Hepatitis - You may be eligible to participate if you’re at least 18 and have chronic hepatitis B. You’ll be ineligible if you’ve had pancreatitis, have taken nucleoside or nucleotide analogue antiviral drugs, have been treated with interferon or other immuno-stimulators in the last 24 weeks, have HIV, hepatitis C or hepatitis D, are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant during the study.             Schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders - This study will evaluate an investigational agent for people with predominantly negative symptoms of schizophrenia. Those who complete the six-month study may be eligible to participate in a second study and receive six more months of treatment.             Heartburn - Those with chronic heartburn will get study related tests and examinations, plus study medication at no cost. Compensation is available for time and travel expenses. Patients must be 18 or older with at least two episodes of nighttime heartburn per week and at least two episodes of daytime heartburn per week.
