The Dallas Morning News’ Dallas.com reported researchers at the University of Texas’ Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas are recruiting for the following studies: Bone health Healthy premenopausal volunteers who smoke are needed for a study to examine the link between tobacco and osteoporosis.

Lupus People with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) are wanted for a study of an investigational drug. Participants must be at least 18 years old, diagnosed with SLE by a doctor, and have lupus activity requiring treatment. Dermatitis Adult African-Americans with seborrheic dermatitis are needed for a study. The condition causes scaling and reddening of the skin at the hairline, brow line and other areas of the face.
