Hi, I'm 61, and have C .M.T. # 3, or Dejerine - Sottas Disease. Although I was born with this disease, it did not show up until I was 30 years old. This is a very rare disease. I am married to a wonderful wife, who is also my care giver. I am a veteran, and a life member of the V.F.W. I have also been a member of the American Legion for many years. All my operations and most other things are free for me. I pay only seven dollars for my medications. For over 20 years, I paid my own bills, and only went to the V.A. went I couldn't pay any more. I have a lot of PAIN as do you. I have had one and a half operations on my nerves, without any anesthesia, plus 30 broken bones , two of which I set myself.
