SPRING AROUND THE CORNER
Spring is just around the corner
Snowdrops bob heads in the icy breeze
Brave daffodils shivering by the river
And catkins are trembling on the trees...
Oh yes, spring is just around the corner
With sunshine, albeit the watery kind,
The tulips and crocus are sights to wonder
Just crack off the ice, and you will find.
So join me in spring in the dappled meadows
Celebrate winter taking flight
And we will go gathering flowers together
But wrap up warm, or the frost will bite.
