You’ve got to have a laugh you know!
That’s what life is all about
So if there’s something funny,
Just let it all come out
A joke, a funny story,
Or something bleak and grey…
How many times have you all said
“I’ll laugh at this some day.”?
So give your jaw some exercise
And let us all join in
There’s nothing wrong with laughter
It never was a sin.
Footprints On The Mind
We walk through life and do our best
At least I hope we do
And often we are doubted
But I have no doubts of you
We talk and laugh and have some fun
You are so sweet and kind
And though I value times we share
It’s what you leave behind
Your footprints… as you pass this way
Though they be hard to find
They matter most because they are
The footprints on my mind.
We walk through life and make our friends
Some stay and some pass through
And all will leave a memory
As good friends often do
But the ones that mean the most to us
The one true friendship finds
Are the friends who leave their footprints
The footprints on our minds.
